You take care of your skin. You moisturise, you use serum, you wear SPF. And your skin improves — but it doesn't truly change.

The tone stays uneven. The fine lines stay. The texture that looks dull, flat, lifeless — stays exactly the same. You've noticed there's a difference between hydrated skin and renewed skin. And that no moisturiser in the world, however good, can do what only cell turnover does.

The problem isn't what you're putting on your skin. It's what's stopping new skin from appearing.

Dead cells accumulate on the surface. They block the absorption of everything you apply. They dull the tone. They accentuate fine lines. And the skin you have today isn't the skin you could have — it's just hidden beneath what was left behind.

CeraVe developed NightRenew to do at night what no step in your daytime routine can: remove the layer of dead cells blocking everything and reveal the skin that was underneath all along.

Chemical exfoliation with AHA works while you sleep — no friction, no granules, no mechanical aggression. The acids dissolve the bonds between dead cells and the skin surface, and by morning what appears is different. Smoother. More luminous. More alive.

It's not the kind of difference you notice after a month. It's the kind you feel the first morning after using it — when you run your hand across your face and the texture simply isn't the same.

Chemical exfoliation does what physical exfoliation never can — without the damage that comes with it.

The 5% blend of glycolic acid and lactic acid dissolves the bonds between dead surface cells without friction. No granules. No microabrasion. No redness from scrubbing. Just precise chemical action on the layer that needs to go — and zero damage to the healthy layers beneath.

The result is accelerated cell turnover: new skin, already formed but blocked, appears. Fine lines look less visible because the uneven surface that accentuated them has been removed. Tone becomes more even because hyperpigmented surface cells have been cleared. The absorption of everything you apply afterwards — moisturiser, serum, SPF — increases because there's no longer a dead barrier in the way.

And ceramides keep the skin barrier intact throughout the entire process. Exfoliation without compromising protection.

CeraVe. The brand that understands new skin isn't born — it's revealed.

At night. After cleansing. Second step — before moisturiser, never before.

Apply a generous amount to your fingertips and spread across your face and neck in gentle circular movements. Avoid the eye contour — that skin is too thin for direct AHA. Allow to absorb completely before applying moisturiser.

For the first two weeks, use on alternate nights. AHA increases skin sensitivity and the adaptation period is important to avoid excessive redness or peeling. From week three onwards, most skin types tolerate daily use.

In the morning, SPF is non-negotiable — AHA increases sun sensitivity and without protection results reverse. One 50ml bottle lasts between 60 and 90 days of consistent use.

❓ FAQ

1. What's the difference between physical and chemical exfoliation? Physical exfoliation uses friction — granules, sponges, cloths — to remove dead cells mechanically. It causes invisible microabrasions, can irritate, and removes unevenly. Chemical exfoliation uses acids that dissolve the bonds between dead cells and the surface, removing precisely and without damage. Same result, zero aggression, more uniform outcome.

2. Can sensitive skin use this? Yes, with adaptation. Start on alternate nights and observe how skin responds. The formula includes ceramides to protect the barrier and licorice root to calm — designed to minimise the irritation AHA can cause on more reactive skin. If you experience sensitivity, return to alternate nights for another week before increasing frequency.

3. How long until I see results? Smoother texture and more luminous skin you feel the first morning after use. More even tone and less visible fine lines appear between weeks two and four of consistent use. For skin with marks or deeper lines, 6 to 10 weeks for a more complete result.

4. Do I really need SPF in the morning? Yes — non-negotiable. AHA removes the protective surface layer of skin and significantly increases sun sensitivity. Without SPF, UV radiation darkens the tone the serum is evening out and reverses the result. Minimum SPF 30 every morning regardless of weather.

5. Can I use it with retinol in the same routine? Not on the same night — combining AHA with retinol can cause excessive irritation. Use NightRenew on exfoliation nights and retinol on alternate nights. Both routines complement each other without competing when kept separate.

6. Does it work on dark spots and hyperpigmentation? Yes — the removal of hyperpigmented surface cells combined with licorice root extract progressively fades marks. Results on post-acne marks and superficial hyperpigmentation are visible between 4 and 8 weeks of consistent use.

7. What if it doesn't work for me? 90-day guaranteed returns. No hassle, no questions, no risk.
